Endless diamond wire cutting is an advanced slicing method that uses a looped wire embedded with diamond particles to cut through materials at high speed. Unlike traditional wire saws that move back and forth, endless wire moves in one continuous direction, enabling smoother, faster, and more precise cuts.

When applied to graphite processing, this technology offers significant advantages over bandsaws, blade saws, and conventional wire saws:

  • Faster Cutting Speeds                     The continuous loop design allows wire speeds of up to 80m/s, reducing cutting time and increasing throughput.
  • Cleaner, Smoother Surfaces.          One-directional motion produces consistent cuts with no reverse marks, resulting in mirror-like surface finishes and reduced post-processing.
  • Lower Kerf Loss.              Wire diameters as small as 0.35mm create minimal cutting slits, maximizing material yield — crucial for high-value graphite.
  • Less Dust, Safer Environment.         The smooth motion and small contact area generate less airborne dust, making it suitable for cleanrooms or sensitive production areas.
  • Supports Complex Shapes.             With CNC control, the endless wire can cut both straight slices and inner/outer profiles, perfect for producing graphite boats, rotors, plates, and electrodes.
